About My Tall Life

I’m a tall girl.  I love being tall most of the time.  But sometimes (ok, a lot of the time) random strangers or people I’ve just met feel the need to point out my height (6’2″) or ask if I played basketball (yes, I did).  I don’t love that.

For the most part, this blog is ongoing documentation of what I’m going to call “tall encounters.” I usually have a tall encounter a few times a week.  Sometimes they are amusing, sometimes just plain annoying, but this is my attempt to find the humor in every situation. I’ll also attempt to document what it’s like being a tall person in a little world.

But because I have some other serious obsessions, I might talk about those too.

Current Obsessions:

My dog, Izzy.

All-natural frozen yogurt.

Egypt (specifically, my desire to visit Egypt as soon as possible but probably not happening anytime soon)

Panama hats.

Sundresses.

The Lake.

Baking.
